Lauren Kitchens-Steward was born & raised in Tupelo, MS.

She attended The University Of Mississippi on a music scholarship where she was a member of the Delta Gamma sorority, concert singer, the connection show choir, top 25 best dressed & runner-up to Miss University.

Lauren went on to receive two undergraduate degrees in Music & Communications from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa OK where she was Homecoming Queen, Dean’s List, music ministry director & worship leader. Lauren also holds a Master’s degree in Radio, TV, & Film from Regent University in Virginia Beach, VA.

Lauren spent 2 summers in Europe & 1 in Canada on mission trips while she was in college.

Her 28-year background in Media includes hosting a Morning Show on the Family Channel, co-hosting on TBN with John Tesh, TV News Reporting, being a repeated guest on Bill Maher’s show Politically Incorrect & hosting radio shows for Salem Radio Network Los Angeles & Nashville, Clear Channel Communications, Sony Worldwide, and American Family Radio.

Lauren is a college professor having held positions at Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, TN, and Azusa Pacific University in Los Angeles, California.

She was runner-up & talent winner in Miss Mississippi America, & first runner-up to Miss Mississippi USA.

Lauren was given the Arvella Schuller Award for service in media by Dr. Robert Schuller in Garden Grove, CA. Lauren is on the advisory board of New Beginnings Adoption Agency & has had a heart for adoption since she was a little girl. She & her husband Robin have a beautiful daughter Channing, a son Knox, and a son, Chambers. They also have 3 older children William, Miller, & Olivia.

Lauren can be heard on American Family Radio Network with her talk show “Living Life With Lauren” & weekly on the national radio show Bill Martinez Live. She also travels nationwide as an inspirational speaker.
